Isn't it funny that the host expects the players to be dedicated and active and they aren't

Mhmm... Especially this host!
I swear he joins games JUST to get you to join his! Then everyone gets pissed and just votes him out! haha
But seriously....this Host isn't as dedicated as he seems to be, and the game is very straightforward, nothing much happens...
Tom and Nat are better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, and the host has way too many questionable decisions that makes you roll your eyes to the next millenium. Seriously he needs to work out his issues

I swear he joins games JUST to get you to join his! Then everyone gets pissed and just votes him out! haha This happened in my game. He even proclaimed that his game was "better" than mine, which I took as an insult, as he tried to coerce my players into signing up and being active in his game over mine. Pretty much all of my players knew that he was a pathetic host and 1) made sure I knew how wrong he was, 2) either declined or went inactive in HIS game, and 3) voted him out over someone completely AWOL after he failed to do a slider puzzle during a challenge. All he did was complain about the challenges he wasn't doing. He didn't post in his confessional except to vote, and he didn't do parchments. He is one of the most pathetic players I've ever encountered. And also, having hosted before doesn't mean a series is successful if the hosts's reputation is as awful as his is. He's not going to play in any of my games again, and he shouldn't be allowed to host. I have heard nothing but bad things about his series and am staying away from it, and if I had an account here I'd totally "dislike" his post too. And I've heard nothing but good things about you guys. Wish I could have played , but I'll be here lurking

Don't bother....not worth the time! The ONLY thing I liked about this game was that there were NO endurance challenges.... TOM!!!!

Yeah, don't bother. The only thing that this guy has going for him is that his logos look nice. His game is one of the most unorganized I have ever seen. I heard he gave a SIX-HOUR voting deadline during the Survivor: Nicaragua finale. I'm freaking serious. Someone self-voted and was out of the game. And this was at the final six or so. He wanted to rush everything to finish before Christmas and only caused an utter mess of everything.
Also, there's nothing creepy about lurking. Like Jaime said, a good host looks at what other good series do and shapes their knowledge into their own game - one doesn't merely steal challenges verbatim from others. I myself have taken two challenges I had seen before and combined them and produced something fun. I've also taken ideas I'd seen and transformed them into something I hadn't. Hosting would be no fun without originality. This is the main reason why I'll never do vanilla flag-making.
And Tom, the only real issue I've heard about your series is the excess of posting or endurance challenges, and a game with many challenges like such has driven me to high stress before. I unfortunately quit and wish I hadn't now. But I like a variety of challenges that cover a good range of aspects that dabble in everything; this, of course, includes an endurance/posting or two.
Was that too long? xD

Well the reason Capri had alot of endurance was based of Bermuda Triangle... I believe it increases peoples attachment to the game and makes the game far more active as people don't want to throw everything away for nothing after all the effort they put in. Did it work? Yes it did. I doubt you can find many regular season games that were more active than Capri especially without application. Moral of the story is it makes winning a far greater accomplishment as people have truly tried hard and put in the effort and are fully active. Of course it could of backfired but it didn't. In saying that, it was more something we experimented for with Capri due to the large nature of the game so All Stars should not fear too much .
